Learn the proper use of hand tools for sawing, drilling, nailing and shaping wood while completing a variety of creative projects. Explore different techniques to sand and finish your constructions. Woodshop orientation and safety procedures are taught during the first class.

Every artist needs a strong understanding of drawing. Develop traditional skills through innovative exercises in a variety of mediums. Explore new tools and techniques through fun and challenging exercises to expand the definition of ‘drawing’.

Perspective, color, proportion, and form – the basic building blocks of drawing and painting – are taught through intriguing and creative projects. Young artists will explore many different ways to use pencil, pastel, and paint to express themselves. Both individual and group instruction will be offered, and personal exploration will be encouraged in this informal group setting.
