Drop-In Art Activities for All Ages!

Expand your appreciation of the arts and diverse cultures with Creative Outlet. Each session allows young people and their families an opportunity to engage in art activities that focus on a different culture or region each month. Explore different mediums in a fun and open atmosphere while creating works of art in our spacious studios. $1 to $3 per activity. All ages welcome. Creative Outlet is funded in part by generous support from RBC Wealth Management. Creative Outlet happens every first Saturday* of the month from 3—5pm. Upcoming dates and themes are as follows:

May 4: Hawaiian Lei Day
June 2 & 3: Frederick Festival of the Arts!
July 6: Africa ~ Fabric of the Community
August 3: Global Dogs ~ In celebration of Dog Days of Summer!
September 7: Australia
October 5: Europe ~ Haunted Castles
November 2: Mexico ~ Day of the Dead
January 4, 2014: Ancient Egypt
February 2, 2014: Chinese New Year
March: Mardi Gras
April: Japan ~ Children’s Day

*December offers Super Secret Elf Workshop instead of Creative Outlet.
